Pre-K (children must be 4 years old by Sept. 1)

One Sunday a month, 8:45 am – 9:30 am
Optional playtime on playground from 9:30 am – 10:00 am​

Parents and Pre-K children will meet one Sunday a month, giving families with young children the opportunity to meet each other and get acquainted with our program.


Kindergarten (children must be 5 years old by Sept. 1) - 2nd Grade​

Sundays, 9:30 am – 12:00 pm

Building on the success of our K-2nd grade library times, Chaverim students will have more enrichment programs this year such as shira (music), rikkud (dancing), art, and more.


3rd - 6th Grade

Sundays, 9:30 am – 12:00 pm
+ weekly one-hour Hebrew group​

Our Sunday sessions focus on Judaic studies with additional programming including t’filah, enrichment programs, and chuggim (electives).

(Students learn Hebrew in small groups that meet either at PTS or in a host home.)


7th Grade

Saturdays (2x/month), 9 am – 12:30 pm

Our 7th-grade program meets on Shabbat morning and is centered around creating community and sanctifying Shabbat.

On class days when a 7th grader is becoming a bar/bat mitzvah, the entire class will attend the Shabbat service.


8th Grade

Sundays, 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm
includes lunch

Our 8th graders learn about the Holocaust and social justice issues of our time. Students delve into their Jewish identity formation in a safe space where they can discuss Jewish approaches to today’s hot topics such as Israel, LGBTQ rights, gun violence prevention, environmentalism and more.


9th grade

Sundays, 12 pm – 2 pm
includes lunch on class days (not on site visit days)

Our 9th graders strengthen their understanding of Judaism while also learning about other religions.

Weeks with site visits will meet at different times.


10th grade

Sundays, 12:00pm - 2:00pm
includes lunch

Our 10th graders spend the year reflecting on their personal theologies and confirming their commitment to living a Jewish life. This class culminates with a Confirmation ceremony.

Jewish Adulting

11th Grade

Fridays (1x/month), 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm
Sundays (1x/month), 12 pm – 2 pm
Includes lunch

Our new Jewish Adulting class gives our Confirmands the opportunity to continue their Jewish education by learning adult skills through the Jewish lens as well as celebrating Shabbat together.


8th -12th grade

Sundays, 9:30am - 12:00pm​

Teens can gain leadership skills by working with teachers in our younger classrooms. This year we are expanding our Madrichim program to offer more opportunities for our madrichim to learn, develop skills, and grow in their positions. Find out more in the application packet.

Moving Traditions

8th - 10th Grade

6:00pm - 8:00pm
9th & 10th grade - one Thursday a month,
8th & 11th grade - one Wednesday a month

Moving Traditions is a nationally-recognized Jewish education program that is designed to help teens think critically about the social and societal pressures placed on them in the pre-college years.


7th - 8th Grade

We want our teens to grow up rooted in their Jewish culture and eager to be involved in their community. Pre-PARTY gives our 7th-8th graders the opportunity to do so by creating friendships and having a great time together.

9th - 12th Grade

PARTY, or Peninsula Area Reform Temple Youth, is PTS’s youth group for high school age youth in association with NFTY. The youth group is run and led by a board of peers.
